The Missing Axe: A Tale from China

A man’s prized axe is missing and his suspicion falls on his neighbor’s son. In the man’s mind the boy looks, walks and talks like a thief. But when the man finds the axe where he himself left it but forgot, the boy looks very different.

“What we believe affects what we see” says this old Chinese conundrum. Performed by Odds Bodkin on piano.
