Master Storyteller and Musician Odds Bodkin (“a consummate storyteller”—The New York Times) weaves masterful music on Celtic harp and 12-string guitars with a cast of voice creations and uncanny sound effects to tell THE WINTER CHERRIES: Tales for the Holidays. A miraculous Christmas Eve adventure from the days of King Arthur. A Chanukah tale of generosity with a startling surprise ending. And a song-filled German folktale of gratitude where we all sing together.
Like movies for the imagination, these tales dive deep into the true spirit of the Holidays. Poverty and wealth. Generosity and greed. Physical things versus acts of kindness. All told with plenty of humor and lots of warmth.
THE WINTER CHERRIES is appropriate for all audiences. Join this New Hampshire artist who Wired Magazine calls “one of the great voices in American storytelling.”
Sponsored by Colebrook Public Library, the performance will be held at The Tillotson Center in Colebrook, New Hampshire at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 26th, 2017.
