This epic Greek myth from Hesiod explains how the Earth came to be, and how Gaia, the original Titan, birthed twelve titan children to create rivers, add salt to the sea and bring prophecy into the world. But when she also gives birth to monsters, her husband’s displeasure leads to a chain of events that rivals Game of Thrones. Revenge, hunger for power and betrayal infect the Titans until Cronus the King devours his own children––the Gods of Olympus––to prevent them from overthrowing him. But Gaia hides the baby Zeus, not knowing that when he grows up he will overthrow them all. Performed by Odds Bodkin with Celtic harp and 12-string guitar, plus a score of characters, this performance is not recommended for children.
