Characters, vocal effects and a full score on 12-string guitar animate this ancient tale of heroism and gratitude. Voices for Beowulf, Grendel, Grendel’s Mother, King Hrothgar and many others along with haunting motifs on 12-string guitar blend into a compelling and vivid imaginative experience. Bodkin’s telling is based closely on the original Beowulf manuscript, the earliest known piece of literature in English.
